Save Your Receipts
It’s important to save all itemized receipts and supporting documentation for your FSA expenses. Try to keep all of your receipts in an envelope or box. You will need this information on hand if you’re ever audited.
Setting up a good filing system for each FSA plan year can help you do this with ease. Please keep the original receipts and only submit copies to CONEXIS.

SCALING BACK ON SODIUM
Americans consume about 3,500 mg of sodium a day – more than double the amount recommended by the American Heart Association. Too much sodium in your diet may put you at higher risk for high blood pressure, which can lead to heart disease and stroke.
To reduce this risk, try to consume less than 1,500 mg of sodium a day. Scale back with these simple tips:
Keep the salt shaker put away to avoid adding salt (including sea salt) to food.
Ask for your dish to be prepared without salt when dining out.
Control what’s in your food by cooking more at home. Add herbs, spices, or lemon juice to flavor your food instead of salt.
Pick fresh over canned or processed food, whenever possible.
Read the Nutrition Facts labels to find lower sodium options.
Are you already watching the amount of sodium in your diet to help control a health condition? If so, know that prescription drugs and blood pressure monitors are eligible FSA expenses. Nutrition counseling may also be an eligible expense if your doctor recommends it to treat a diagnosed condition.

BENEFIT CARD CORNER
How do I request a benefit card for my dependents and keep track of their purchases?
To order a benefit card for a dependent age 18 or older, go to the Order a Dependent Card quick link in your online account. Then add your dependent’s personal information, provide your consent, and look for the card to arrive in the mail.
Your dependent’s card purchases will appear in your account activity along with your own. This allows for easy tracking so you can keep up with the spending of your FSA funds.
